The Constituency
The Christ Church East Central constituency, established in 1981, is located in Christ Church, Barbados. Since this time, the people of Christ Church East Central have been represented by a member of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) on three (3) occasions. Harold Bernard St. John (later Sir Harold), former prime minister of Barbados, was the constituency’s first representative, winning the seat in 1981.
